Mari-Yans Guesthouses are situated at Gariep dam (Southern Free State), the largest dam in South Africa, nearly in the middle of South Africa.

Activities to participate in, includes: Game viewing, bird watching, freshwater fishing, boat cruises, water sport, gliding, dam wall tours, bowling and much more.

Gariep dam’s sunset creates the perfect backdrop for photographers and sometimes, more than often, you will be rewarded by the call of a Fish eagle.

We are situated in the Southern Free State, 193km south of Bloemfontein & 45km north of Colesberg.

As from N1 turn-off, Mari-Yans Guesthouses are located 5km (tar road) into town.
